Side Effects of Cancer Treatment

Side Effects of Cancer Treatment

Cancer treatments—and cancer itself—can cause a wide range of side effects. These side effects occur when treatment affects healthy tissues or organs, not just the cancer cells. It's essential to communicate any symptoms you’re experiencing with your healthcare team. • Anemia
  • Ascites
  • Bleeding and Bruising (Thrombocytopenia)
  • Bowel Obstruction
  • Cachexia (Severe Weight and Muscle Loss)
  • Constipation
